Paintings by Velázquez and Murillo, clothes by Balenciaga, music by Albéniz – the Long Night at the Kulturforum goes Spanish! Four museums at the Kulturforum invite you to a summer night in Berlin, with Spanish art and fashion, guided tours of the exhibition ‘El Siglo de Oro. The Era of Velázquez’, dance, theatre, workshops, readings, films and music to bring Spain’s Golden Age to life in the heart of Berlin. Typical Spanish culinary titbits make the experience complete. And there’s even more Spain waiting to be discovered on our ‘Spain in Berlin’ tour beginning at Potsdamer Platz at 7 pm and 9.30 pm.
Tickets will be available from 4 pm in our Info Boxes at the Kulturforum and from 12 pm at Potsdamer Platz together with programme brochures and route maps for the Long Night.
Shuttle buses will take you to the Museums Island (R1), to Charlottenburg (R3), to Kreuzberg (R4) and to the Natural History Museum (R5). The Gemäldegalerie (Gallery of Old Masters), the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Arts and Crafts), the Ibero-American Institute and the Museum of Musical Instruments are all a short walk away, as are the Museum for Film and Television, the Dalí Museum and the Ottobock Science Center.
